Scoliometer

Scoliometer: Plastic tool for the evaluation of scoliosis (medical condition where the spine of a person is curved towards one side).

• The tool is equipped with a little ball that swings inside the specific guide; this ball directly indicates in the scale the degrees of the slope regarding the horizontal plane.
• This detection allows for showing the defect and evaluating its entity: the values higher than or equal to 5 must be considered suspicious.
• Also, it is possible to compare the results detected in the time and, therefore, an accurate definition of the evolution or no evoution of the pathological process, thus also allowing a benefitial limitation of the radiographic tests.
