Geothermal therapy, better known as "stone terapy" is the most popular trend in the most prestigious spas in the world.

The "stone therapy" is inspired by Eastern disciplines, according to which, seven chakras are located along the central canal of the body vital energy centers that correspond to various organs. Massage with hot and cold stones is not new; for many years, both Chinese and American Indians used hot stones to massage and relieve ailments. The core of the geothermal therapy, constitutes the application of hot and cold stones that act at two levels:

a) Statically by means of pressure treatment at specific points

During the stone massage, the masseuse places smooth stones, hot and cold above and below the body. He uses the stones to put pressure on the muscles. The therapist uses the same system of Vital massage to relax the muscles, the stones help to increase the pressure and open the energy channels. Many therapists seek their own stones from rivers, lakes and forests, selecting those with which they can identify and can establish a personal connection.
